Nestled in an elevated position, this home from home boasts magnificent, breathtaking views over the splendid Loch Long and the surrounding majestic Arrochar Alps. Located in the pretty village of Arrochar, you’ll have friendly inns, eateries, general store and bespoke craft shops on your doorstep. The immediate area is renowned for its fantastic walking, hiking and biking routes with the Arrochar Alps and Ben Arthur to explore, as well as the beautiful scenery of Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Loch Lomond is just 2 miles away where you can enjoy a cruise, take a trip on a seaplane, or enjoy a round of golf at an array of courses. The beautiful village of Luss and the fantastic Sealife Centre are also within easy reach.
Step inside this spacious, rustic-style property into the hall, the perfect place to store your outdoor clothing, and then walk through to the light and bright lounge. Relax on the comfortable sofas after a day out exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and enjoy the magnificent views over Loch Long and surrounding Arrochar Alps. Watch a great movie on the Smart TV with Sky Q HD package and a DVD player, and on those cooler evenings, light the fantastic open fire. There are also French doors in the lounge leading directly outside. Next is the dining room with a wonderful arts and crafts dining table and chairs, ideal for family gatherings with amazing loch and mountain views to admire; this room also has French doors leading outside to the large, decked area. Continuing back through the hall, next you will find the spacious well-equipped kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, feature Rayburn and dining area. From the kitchen/diner is the utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer, and access out to the garden. Completing the ground floor is a separate WC. Heading up the first flight of stairs to the first floor, you will find the spacious super-king-size bedroom with a Juliet balcony to enjoy the magnificent loch and mountain views. This bedroom has a TV with a SkyQ HD package and a spacious en-suite bathroom with a roll-top bath, separate shower and WC. Continuing up the next flight of stairs to the second floor, you will find four further bedrooms. These are: a king-size four-poster with a TV with Sky Q HD package, and an en-suite shower room with shower WC; a twin with Smart TV and en-suite shower room with shower and WC; a king-size with beautiful loch and mountain views, Smart TV and en-suite shower room with shower and WC; and, finally, the triple bunk bedroom with a double and a single bed over and Smart TV.
Venturing outside, you’ll find the enclosed wrap-around gardens with mature planting, a large decked area and a hot tub to relax and unwind in whilst enjoying the magnificent views over Loch Long and the surrounding Arrochar Alps. There is also a gas BBQ and comfortable seating area for al fresco dining and lazy evenings stargazing. Off-road parking is available directly outside the property for four cars.
Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.
