Custom-built by its owners on the outskirts of Ellon in Aberdeenshire, Larchwood Lodge is a luxury wooden retreat designed to maximize countryside views. Featuring an innovative reverse-level layout, an elevated balcony, an outdoor wood-burning stove, and stylish oak finishes, this lodge offers a peaceful base camp for up to four guests exploring North East Scotland.

Whether you are visiting local craft breweries, playing world-class golf courses, or touring historic castles, Larchwood Lodge combines handcrafted architectural charm with modern luxury.

First-Floor Open-Plan Living & Countryside Balcony

Designed to take full advantage of the surrounding landscapes, the open-plan living space is located on the upper level:

  • Panoramic Living & Balcony: Relax on comfortable sofas in front of the Smart TV, or step through French doors onto the upper-level balcony to take in sweeping countryside views.

  • Contemporary Benched Dining & Kitchen: Gather for group meals at the custom benched dining area, supported by a fully equipped, modern kitchen for effortless self-catering.

  • First-Floor Cloakroom: Includes a convenient upper-level WC and hand basin.

    The ground floor features three beautifully decorated bedrooms behind solid oak cottage doors, each equipped with its own Smart TV:

  • Master King Suite: Features a plush king-size bed, ample wardrobe storage, direct patio door access to the garden, and a modern en-suite bathroom with a walk-in waterfall shower.

  • Double & Twin Bedrooms: Includes a charming double bedroom with oak furniture and traditional tartan accents, plus a comfortable twin bedroom.

  • Family Bathroom & Utility: A chic main bathroom with a deep bathtub for relaxing soaks, plus a practical utility area located in the bright entrance hallway.
